Origin Story
Brazil - Cocarive Co-operative
This regional coffee comes from smallholder farmers in the Cocarive Co-operative, Carmo de Minas. Carefully selected for variety and quality, the coffees are processed by Cocarive. A growing number of farms in Brazil are now prioritising cup quality over volume, with outstanding results.
-
Uganda - Katanda community
This coffee comes from the Katanda farming community in Kasese, at the southern end of the Rwenzori Mountains, and is processed by Agri Evolve. Katanda is home to 1,000 smallholder farmers growing coffee at 1,300–1,600 masl. Agri Evolve has strong ties to the community, helping establish clean water access in 2020.
Cherries are collected from three buying centres and processed at the Nyabirongo washing station — pulped, fermented for 24 hours, washed, and dried on raised beds or mechanically before being stored and prepared for export.

Beginners Guide
If you're making the jump from instant coffee or simply never brewed your own cup, don't sweat! We have some handy tips here to get you going.
- Brewing method - You're going to need something to brew the coffee, there are several options out there but a French Press (or Cafetierre) is likely the easiest and cheapest for beginners.
- Grind - Coffee naturally comes as a whole bean, which needs to be ground before brewing. Which brewing method you choose will determine how coarse or fine the grind needs to be. If you don't have a grinder, simply select which brewing method you are using and we will grind it for you!
- Weight - Depending on brewing method, a 250g bag of beans is around 15-17 cups. The more you buy at once the more you save!
